FILMFAX PRISONER
The
latest issue of the American magazine "Filmfax" ("the magazine
of unusual film, television, and retro pop-culture") will be of interest
to Prisoner fans as it includes an in-depth article outlining the production
of the series, which runs to a meaty 7 pages.
The article, written by Spencer Peet, includes quotes from several members of the Prisoner production crew, and is illustrated with rarely-seen production photographs throughout. The writer clearly knows his subject, and has done a good job of summarising the complex aspects of the making of the series in a compact but readable style, despite the occasional factual error.
The article is also accompanied by a smaller piece on Portmeirion, by Paul Ross. The recent PM2005 event is also mentioned, including photographs of the event guests, and an Unmutual Website link.
