DREAMY PARTY

Saturday 8th April 2006 saw the official launch party for Volume 2 of Reynolds and Hearn's "The Prisoner: The Original Scripts", edited and annotated by Robert Fairclough. The Bath House pub in London's Soho was the venue for this well-attended and highly enjoyable event, at which attendees were treated with free refreshments and a signed copy of the book, as well as sharing in the many anecdotes from the "Prisoner" guests.

Special guests Tony Sloman (Film Librarian), John S Smith (Editor), Ian L Rakoff (Editor and writer), and Renee Glynne (Continuity) shared their memories of working on the series and signed books and other items. The book contains the original scripts for the final 9 episodes, plus the script for the unshot episode "Don't Get Yourself Killed" by Gerald Kelsey, and "Noises Off" - the unshot pilot episode of "The Outsider" - a planned follow-up series to "The Prisoner", written by Lewis Griefer and starring Patrick McGoohan. Also included is a foreward by "Prisoner" writer Roger Parkes, and a history of Everyman Films.
