'Life for Ruth' is a classic and heart-wrenching 1962 film directed by Basil Dearden about a girl, Ruth, desperately ill following a car crash. She requires an urgent blood transfusion, but the father (played by Michael Craig) is objecting on religious grounds. Playing the hospital consultant is Patrick McGoohan, with Janet Munro Craig's wife.
Following their earlier DVD release of the film, Network have released a wonderful HD version of the movie on BluRay, which is available HERE as part of their 'The British Film' range.
