TIM BEDDOWS DIES
The Unmutual Website is devastated to learn that Tim Beddows, managing director of Network Distributing, has passed away.
Writes Rick Davy of TUW: "To say that I am shocked is an understatement. Tim was an extraordinary and unique man, and a dear friend. He has been described today as "a force of nature", and I would agree with that statement. Network have released over 5000 titles, thanks to Tim's own personal interest in cult TV and film, and he leaves behind a fantastic legacy - which will live on, thanks to the plans he had made for the company's future output. His dedication to 'The Prisoner' is particularly worthy of mention, and he was a great friend to everyone involved in appreciating this wonderful series. The anniversary sets, documentaries, and events related to the serieswhich he personally organised were, and will always be, unrivaled. Beyond that which he created, he was a beautiful and generous soul who I will miss greatly. I hope everyone reading this will raise a glass to him."
