Portmeirion has played host to countless TV travel series over the years, and 2023 and 2024 will be no exception.
August 2023 saw television royalty in the village, when 'Brookside' and 'The Royle Family' actors Ricky Tomlinson and Sue Johnston were seen filming for a forthcoming travel series.
Also taking in other local locations during their stay in Wales, inlcuidng visiting Llandudno and taking a trip on the Ffestiniog Railway, the pair were seen filming in various spots in the Village, culminating in Tomlinson exclaiming to camera Patrick McGoohan's iconic cry of 'I am Not a Number!'
