HORST & SANDS R.I.P.
TUW is sad to report that two more members of the 'Prisoner family' have sadly passed away recently.
Firstly, Horst Naumann (left), who provided the voice for Patrick McGoohan in the German dubbing of 13 episodes of the series back in 1969 has died at the age of 98. Horst was a world-renowned voiceover artist and was still active at the time of his passing. For more information on his involvement in the series, click HERE (scroll down for English).
Secondly, Sands Lewis, manager of the 'Prisoner Shop' in Portmeirion, has also sadly passed away. Sands was always a friendly and welcoming face for all visitors to Portmeirion and was a great asset to the village and managed the shop superbly over recent years.
TUW's thoughts and sympathies go to the families and friends of Horst and Sands.
