The Prisoner gets a mention in the Sunday supplement of The Daily Telegraph (25/08/2024 edition) in a piece about Inverlair Lodge, the retirement home for spies upon which The Village was loosely based (more details on Inverlair can be found HERE).
Written by Christian Kriticos, the piece includes interviews with Christopher Murphy, who runs the MA programme in Intelligence and Security Studies at the University of Salford, and Rick Davy of The Unmutual Website.
The piece ties in with a 50th anniversary reprint of 'The Cooler', George Markstein's novel, based on Inverlair (see news item below).
