PRISONER DAY ON BIG L RADIO
DATE NOW ANNOUNCED: SUNDAY 2ND JULY

Radio station Big L (formerly Radio London) are inviting "Prisoner" fans and people who can remember the 1960's, to a celebration of "The Prisoner" on Sunday 2nd July 2006 from 10.00am.

In its day, Big L ruled the airwaves and had thousands of regular listeners. Big L (Radio London) was forced off the air by the then British government, at around the same time that "The Prisoner" was being shown on TV in 1967. The station today captures much of the old Big L, and unlike other stations, it always plays a varied mixture of music covering 5 decades of rock and pop.

We need your help:- If you own a Mini-Moke, or a car from the 1960's, like to dress as a Villager, or celebrate all things 60's, then we would like to hear from you to come to Frinton on Sea and help make Prisoner Day a success. The Unmutual Website will be involved, and all proceeds will be donated to Hope House Hospice.

You can find Big L on Sky digi 0190 and online at http://www.bigl.co.uk (Soon to be back on Medium wave 1395 khz). If you would like to help or need further information then please contact us or email chris@midblack.co.uk

With thanks to Chris R and Big L for this news item.
