ANNIVERSARY VIDEO RE-ISSUED

The McGuffin Film Society's video 'The Prisoner: 35 Year's Of A Television Phenomenon' has finally been reissued following the complete sell out of the
original release.

On 17th May 2002, The McGuffins organised a special event at the EMD Cinema in London to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the series. Special guests included actor Kenneth Griffith, stuntman Frank Maher, film librarian and director Tony Sloman, and author Robert Fairclough. The event was the only anniversary celebration to be officially sanctioned by Carlton. The video contains edited highlights of the evening along with bonus footage of additional interviews with the guests which took place backstage at the event. The video also offers a rare chance to see the original documentary 'Portmeirion - The Place and Its Meaning' which was screened on the night.

Sadly, a DVD issue of the documentary has been ruled out due to transfer
costs but VHS stocks have now been replenished and can be ordered via the
website at http://www.mcguffin.info
or by cheques/postal orders payable to 'McGuffin', and sent to: McGuffin Film Society, 458 Hoe Street, London E17 9AH. Running time: 63 minutes approx. £10 incl. P&P.
