BRAND AT THE NFT

Arguably Patrick McGoohan's finest performance was that of Ibsen's Brand, which he played at the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith, in the late 1950s (and years later would unsuccessfully attempt to turn into a feature film).

Fans of this piece of work, and McGoohan's performance, will be delighted to hear that it is included in a forthcoming Ibsen season at the National Film Theatre.

On the 1st and 16th of October, the BBC adaptation of the play (released on DVD in 2001, and available at a cut-price £10 HERE) will be screened at the NFT2 in London. For more details on these screenings, click HERE.
