SUSAN WILLIAMS-ELLIS 1918-2007
For
the second time in a week, TUW is sad to report the death of a much loved
individual connected to The Prisoner and Portmeirion.
On November 27th, Susan Williams-Ellis, daughter of Sir Clough and the founder of Portmeirion Pottery, sadly passed away at the age of 89. Regularly seen in the village and its gardens up until her death, Susan was always happy to chat to tourists and admirers of her work and will be sadly missed.
