OCTANE POWERED WALKABOUT

On Sunday 24th October 2004, around 20 Prisoner fans gathered under Marble Arch in London at 2.30pm for the 2nd of this year's popular twice-yearly Prisoner Locations Walkabout, hosted and organised by Dave Lally of the London Prisoner Group. Fans from as far afield as Oxford, Bristol, Essex, Berkshire, Bucks, the West Midlands and even the United States were ably guided around 20 or so London-based Prisoner locations including Number Six's House, the Underground Car-Park and the famous Resignation Corridor!

This particular Walkabout was extra-special in that several Caterham 7 Cars (the modern version of Number Six's Lotus from The Prisoner) also made an appearance, courtesy of writer and 7 owner Richard Fleury. Richard is currently working on a large feature on the 7 for "Octane" Car Magazine, and where better to conduct his photoshoot than at the very locations where the Lotus was seen in the series and in the company of some of the World's most knowledgable Prisoner fans.

The magazine is due for release in late-March 2005 (the May issue). To see a small photo-report on this unforgettable event, click HERE. The next Locations Walkabout has been confirmed for Sunday 17th April 2005 (more details on our events page).
