OFFICIAL PRISONER MAGAZINE RELAUNCHED

The Prisoner: Official Fact Files, a full-colour Prisoner magazine and DVD/Video partwork officially produced for copyright holders Granada Ventures by De Agostini, has been nationally re-launched in time for Christmas.

The partwork was originally given a test-launch in early 2004 but was, unfortunately, suspended after only 6 issues. Despite reports to the contrary, the six-magazine trial issue was a success and, with a few tweaks to issue one and the logo, the whole series is now available fortnightly into 2005 - with TV adverts to support the re-launch now showing!

Each magazine is in full colour, and is jointly written by TV historian Marcus Hearn and Robert Fairclough, author of Carlton's Official Prisoner Companion, and includes a DVD of each episode of the series plus extras such as a DVD of the Danger Man epic, "Koroshi". Subscribers are also sent a selection of free gifts, including a Prisoner T-shirt and DVD storage box.

For those who already subscribed to the original six issues, issue seven will be free with a subscription offer for the remaining ten.

The Prisoner: Official Fact Files is currently available from all good newsagents, including WH Smiths (who tend to stop stocking partworks after 6 issues but accept standing orders) or the De Agostini website at http://www.deagostini.co.uk To read an exclusive review of Part One, click HERE.

OFFICIAL DANGER MAN MAGAZINE TO FOLLOW

At the end of the 17 issues of the official The Prisoner magazine, De Agostini are continuing with a fortnightly series of Official Danger Man magazines and it is intended that each and every episode of Danger Man will be available as part of the series' front cover DVD.
