Prisoner Scripts Launch Party - Special Photo Report.
Report by Rick Davy. Photos by Jill "Paparazzi" Mills.

On Saturday June 4th 2005, several members of the Prisoner cast and crew, along with countless fans of the series, converged upon the Bath House pub in London's Soho for the official launch of the long awaited first volume of "The Prisoner: The Original Scripts", edited by renowned Prisoner book writer Robert Fairclough.

The day began with a few of us meeting early at the venue to catch up before Rob asked us to move upstairs for the event opening at 1.00pm. As the room filled up with both Prisoner fans and guests, publisher Richard Reynolds of Reynolds and Hearn gave a rousing speech before Rob himself thanked everyone for coming.

All the attendees, one of whom travelled from as far as Austria to attend, were treated to a copy of the book, signed by Jane Merrow, Eric Mival, Joshua Greifer and Geoffrey Case - all of whom were happy to share their experiences of working in the industry and sign additional photographs and items.

The event finished at 5.00pm, with many attendees staying on for further drinks and social interaction long into the evening. I'm sure I can speak for everyone who came along that it was a wonderful day, and the book itself is simply an unrivalled tome.
