The sixth annual music and arts festival takes place in the grounds of Portmeirion, headline acts include the award winning 'Rag n Bone Man' and 'The Flaming Lips'. Event is strictly by ticket only, please visit Festival Number 6 for details.


Friday 15th September 2017
"Danger Man - Colony Three" locations tour

Meeting at 11.00am abeside Platform 9 of King's Cross Station for 11.30am train to Hatfield to visit location sites used in the 'Danger Man' episode 'Colony Three'. Afterwards, back to Central London for social drinks in pub.

Saturday 16th September 2017
Borehamwood 'The Prisoner' locations tour

Meet at 11.30am at Elstree + Borehamwood Rail Rail Station for an Elstree town tour (including remaining 'The Prisoner' locations seen in 'The Girl Who Was Death' locations) plus a look at the remains of the old MGM Studios (where 'The Prisoner' was made). Ending up in either Mops+Brooms pub (itself a location) or at the Toby Carvery (on site of 'Harmony' location).

Sunday 17th September 2017 (morning)
"Danger Man" London locations walkabout tour

Meeting at Victoria British Rail Station (outside Burger King near to Platforms 1-7) at 10.45am. Have a Travelcard valid for at least Zones 1 and 2, and the tour visits;
(1) Danger Man opening location site ("every government has its secret service branch...."),
(2) Danger Man - home of John Drake.
(3) Several other locations from the 'Danger Man' episodes 'Fair Exchange' and 'Don't Nail Him Yet'.
5 ) Several other buildings with Prisoner, Portmeirion, and Cult TV connections (such as Simon Templar's home from 'Return of the Saint').
Event is free to attend other than your travelcard. After a stop for lunch it's then on to.......

Sunday 17th SEPTEMBER 2017 (afternoon)
"The Prisoner" London locations walkabout tour

The 1st of 2017's twice-yearly London locations walking tours. Commences at 2.00pm underneath Marble Arch and continues on foot for approx 3.5 miles taking in over 20 different "Prisoner" locations, culminating in Number Six's London home. Free to attend. Optional visit to pizza or similar restaurant for tea then follows at approx 5.30pm. Event goes ahead regardless of weather so come prepared. Any queries, click HERE and send an email. Monday 18th September 2017
"The Prisoner" picnic and Polotska visit

Meet at 11.00 Waterloo Main Line Rail Stn (outside Foyles bookshop). Visit to Teddington for a picnic (bring your own food+drink)!! to look at the Breda, AKA MS Polotska from 'The Prisoner', which is berthed there.

24th SEPTEMBER 2017

A small local event atBound Lane Car Park, Hayling Island, PO11 9HU. Unofficial event not related to The Unmutual Website, a great chance to meet other 'Prisoner' fans from the local area and chat about the show and have a great day out in like-minded company. It is hoped Prisoner-themed vehicles will be on display. For more details email organiser Stephen at Parking is £6 for the day and refreshment outlets are available, there is no charge to attend the event.

MGM Borehamwood Sites Location Tour

Members of the "MGM Borehamwood Memories" Facebook group will meet up in Elstree for their yearly look around the former site of the MGM studios (where The Prisoner was largely filmed).

Whilst the studios and sites have been demolished, it's a fascinating look around what now stands on the "Hollywood of Britain" and again the tour will be headed by MGM expert Kieran McAleer. Meet time is 1.00pm at the Toby Carvery (Travelodge) in Studio Way, Borehamwood.

Prior to this, Dave Lally will be operating a quick additional tour of some locations, meeting at Elstree and Borehamwood station at 11.00am.

This tour is free to attend, no membership to any organisation is required.


Friday September 29th 2017
Hosted by NETWORK at The Hotel Portmeirion

''Fall In - The Prisoner at 50' is the official title of NETWORK's 50th anniversary event in Portmeirion on Friday 29th September 2017, and tickets are now SOLD OUT!

Guests so far confirmed include series guest stars Peter Wyngarde, Jane Merrow, Derren Nesbitt, Norma West and Annette Andre, and third assistant director on the series Seamus Byrne.

As well as guests, there will be several screenings on 35mm film, including three episodes of 'The Prisoner', and 'In My Mind', Chris Rodley's new feature-length documentary film, in the Hercules Hall (climaxing with 'Arrival' screened 50 years after its original broadcast, introduced by a very special guest).

In addition (as if the above wasn't enough), the Big Finish 'Prisoner' team of Nick Briggs (writer/producer) and Mark Elstob (Number Six), along with special guest star Nickolas Grace (Number Two) will be providing a very special live episode in The Green Dome!

There will also be other guests and attractions to be announced nearer the time. All indoor events are open to ticket holders only, who today (8/9) received event details by email. Portmeirion will of course still be open to day visitors to soak up the atmosphere of what promises to be a unique event to celebrate the series' 50th anniversary.

Earlier this year, news broke that the Seattle 50th Anniversary convention PrisonerCon2017 sadly had to be cancelled (see news item below).

Exciting news has reached The Unmutual from the organisers that the event is BACK, in a new form!

Saturday 30th September is the date, with special guests; actress Lucille Soong (Flower Girl in 'A. B. and C.'), Tim Palgut (author: The Village Technical Manual) and rock band 'Do Not Forsake Me Oh My Darling').
